Default question about the nürburgring

hey does anyone knows what does the pavement has painted in some cirves ??

i was just wondering

he is asking why they have different surface colors on the turns at the ring and it's usually a different surface material like asphalt and concrete etc... or sometims fading otherwise he might be talking about the red and white stripes on the outside of the curves which is to help let the driver see the edges of the track.If that's what he was talking about...

Well if the different colours of surfaces are simply caused by patch work. The track is really old and being fixed all the time, and there is now way they can resurface the entire track at once with same materials...

I guess he's just referring to the paintings on the tarmac. They are created by fans and visitors, and it's usually just "I was here" stuff, like "Audi fanclub Munich sends greetings to all other Audi fans around the world" and so on.

Large areas around the Nürburgring are open to the public, and people will camp there to see the race. At night after some beers a few of them will get the idea that it would be nice to have their name written on the tarmac, so they (illegally) enter the track and do their thing.

As simple as that.

they put new tarmac round the whole ring last year before the winter!
and new concrete in the carousell!
