Default My beef with "posted before" replies

why do people go through the trouble of posting a message just to say that "it was posted before".
You might have seen it but other might have missed it. It happened to me wiith the last two posts, so I stopped posting. What is the point?

Let me guess "posted before...." LOL

And what about ppl saying "I don't know if it was posted before.."... no idea why they don't like to search before posting

Because it gets very annoying to hear people banter on about stuff that has been posted (and beaten to death) a dozen times more. It's proper net ettiquete to look and see if only a few lines down the page that same topic has been discussed. If it has, join the discussion, if it is nowhere to be seen or you can not find the pics, video, etc that you have already on there, then by all means post a new topic.

BTW did you all know that Bugatti has a new car coming out??!? It's called the VEYRON and it's fast and has 1000hp!!!!!

I am gonna play devils advocate here - if we want a hope of new fresh blood on the forum - perhaps we should be open to discussions being repeated....

...or of course we could say "fuck the n00bs..." and in the case of some new members - maybe "fuck the n00bs..." isn't such a bad idea..."... (let's see who get's that one... )

and as for you, STFU n00b!!!!!1111one1!

think of it this way. you're in the town square and you see two people get in a fight or something, and right away everybody starts talking about it and discussing it with the greatest of enthusiasm. and then a couple hours later, somebody comes up and says "OMG OMG OMG DID YOU SEE WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN THE TOWN SQUARE!!!! omg!!111one!" you get the point

And BTW, of course when somebody post something already posted weeks or months before, the topic can be left there for new ppl to see... the "already posted" is used for ppl posting something that was already here a couple of days, maybe a couple of hours before...

bitch bitch bitch, i swear with all the nagging on both sides of the issue, "how do I...", "it was posted", "can someone tell me", "use the search".

just plain aggravating, like geekdiggy trying to come up with cool insults at newbs to get a laugh. 8)
