Thank you so much stmoritzer & hamlet for your great report event and for your awesome pictures & video about the Gumpert Apollo, one of my favorite supercar.

Being a big fan of Audi I follow the development of this supercar since the beginning. Roland Gumpert was an instrumental employee of Audi’s on the racing side of things, managing the Motorsport Department during the ‘70s and ‘80s where he won 4 Rally World Championship titles. Another name not new to Audiphiles is Gumpert partner and Audi tuning meister and owner of MTM, Roland Mayer. This is why sometimes I call it again the MTM Apollo. I very like the fact this car looks like a fighter jet and has a 650-hp biturbo engine from the Audi RS6.

Thanks again guys !

Cheers

that is one of my favorite as well, especially since it is also pretty rare and is different from all other supercars. Mr Gumpert is really a nice person and being allowed to attend such a track test was a privilege we really apreciated.

Hope we can have the opportunity to see it again... 8)

^this car is supposed to drive foreward
going backwards means too much oversteer
