Yeah they released it one week before PMA '06.
You know what is the funny thing, which could be attributed to the reasons nthfinity wrote; Instead of people lining up to buy the new 30D, most of the people on the photography community are looking for deals on the 20D
.
So it must not be that significant of a upgrade.
Better yet if you are looking for something in that class, I heard the D200 is REALLY REALLY good.
