I know that it has 1 year to go to i take my driver´s license
you don't even have your licesnse yet and you wanna move up to the big boy status?

id say its safe for me drive a car with 405 hp now, as i have done 390
Would that be moving up from an SVT Cobra to a Corvette Z06 by any chance?

big boy`...what are u saying

i don´t need to be old to drive fast and even my driver´s license...if you don´t know, the minimal age for being a driver here in brazil is 16 years old...

Of course I don't know him personally and same goes for you.. but I was 15-16 too and I was 100% sure I had something more than the average guy felt more mature and of course up to the task of driving even a fighter place... but well to say that for sure, maybe you will have to wait 5 or even 10 years and look back at when you was that age.. I'm pretty sure your opinion will be different

I agree with you, TT.

We all think we're invincible when we're young. I remember losing it on a wet road in an E46 318Ci convertible, two years ago, or last year, i think. HOw did that happen? i shifted down one gear too many (using the Steptronic function on the autobox), locked up the back, and no traction control in the world would have saved me. Luckily, I managed to remember to rev, so it turned out looking like a graceful powerslide out of the exit of a hairpin, rather than a trip into a ditch. I nearly peed in my pants, because i nearly wrote off my mom's car. And this was just an E46.

Conclusion? Dont think too highly of yourself. It will either make you have a huge accident, a big scare (like me), or even kill you.

Even though I have driven on a couple of tracks, done a course or two, I still don't think I am all that good. I can have fun when the time is right, but the difference between a good driver and an amazing driver is massive. Being able to find traction where it should be impossible is a good place to start. Being able to link up corners is an art too.

Oh, go and have a play in a go-kart! seriously! If you have a year or so of go-karts behind you before you get to race school, you will be one step ahead.
