the bike apears mostly intact, with only one visible 'broken bone' attatching the exhaust pipe to the frame. more pics will follow as we have to prepare for the legal assistance, and understand what exactly happened. but here's the kicker... the idiot who cause the accident is still pulling the same fool stunt that cause the accident to begin with

:2gunfire:
oh yeah, its a 99 GSXR 600
the equipment he wears, and likely saved his upper torso, head, and hands. i can never understand why anybody would not want to wear these protectives... survival of the fitest i suppose...

accident scene

the F150 was facing the wrong direction in the exit ramp to the subdivision, and pulled across the road in front of my brother... then once he saw my bro, he stopped, and caused the accident. notice just about 15 inches of tire patch... that seems to have been the point of impact with the rear bumper, and caused the bike to slide sideways. he realed in the power quite superbly until that point as skidding stops slower then otherwise. not even a mile from the house...

we figure the bike separated near the first blood mark on the pavement
for those squeemish, just a thumbnail

things turned down today, some of the peeled skin hasnt taken, and is dying.
also, infection has set in, and so has a fever.
to remedy both these situations, they are operating again on thursday to open the wound again.
also, but not in conjuntion with, they will place some skin grafts on him for a time.
unfortunately, we arent expecting to see him home for at least a week... perhaps 2
