Just went through that whole thread and, holy crap! That is one hell of a kit, shame about the price. I'd love to put one together, but $3000+ it's far to much for my blood!
Do you have any more pics? I'd love to see it finished!

Too bloody right, I would be very proud of that creation. You are obviously a very skilled man....I will be keeping an eye on that thread!!
I am even going to find a little (plastic) kit to re0live my childhood! I may post pics of it.....although, as usual it may go wrong in the painting department lol
Thanks fot the inspiration! I have been meaning to have a go again for ages....just needed that little kick to get my arse off the ground!

supecar freak, it looks amazing! the detail on that F40 is superb.....i bought a tamiya ferrari 360, but i have to pick up a few more colours(besides corsa red!) i have the entire drivetrain and chassi together but havent started on the specific body panels....ive fucked up the paint job.....can i finely sand it to get some of the bubbles out?(then apply a few more layers of paint...?)

Do you know what pains he used for the blue 360??
Obviously, a white and grey plastic primer, but what blue and what type (lacquer, enamel e.t.c)?!?!?!
Why is the first coat always grey, why not two coats of white for example??
ok, been having a little look about :
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/pai...olor_chart.jpg
Perhaps it is the dark metallic blue. TS52
I have been looking at the kits....for example: Ferrari 306 'yellow version', this is confusing me lol. Does that mean it comes pre-painted? Or just yellow plastic?

I was looking in my model shop after work today....I was going to get the 360, but they did not have it in red, as I want the cream interior.
Do you know what the paint codes for the brakes and engine bits e.t.c....I had a look in the instructions, but could not find them
Sorry for all the questions! This is a new ball game for me lol
