IMO this is not a wise thing to do if you care about performance, resale value, or tire wear. In other words, I think it's ricey.
That said, I think brembo described what is needed to roll the fenders perfectly. I have heard of it being done with a baseball bat as well, but that would scare me. If you want to do it, spend the money on the equipment and do it right.
