RC45, sadly, distribution of wealth is the least of the Philippines worries..

but I think this topic is starting to turn into a World Political debate talking about if our shoes were made in sweat shops spread around the south pacific..

The way i see it, if your smart enough to make a business sucessfull, and become wealthy from it, well done to ya, enjoy it...

Nice car btw...

RC was referring to the ethical issues concerning the distribution of wealth in "3rd world nations".

Are you saying that if I shoot you and enslave your family and use them to make me money for a CGT I should be able to enjoy the money?

Please man, you taking this way out of line. That sort of shit doesnt happen, and you know it. Their working conditions may be poor but everyone has a chance to make something of them selfs.

Just because this dude has enough money to purchase a CGT it doent mean he shot me and enslaved my family to get to it...

Called leverage mate...world of business...

You've been living in the free world for too long, my deluded friend. In "3rd world countries" it's impossible to become rich by being honest and hard working. The system will not let you do that. You have to get your hands dirty if you want to accumulate a fortune large enough to afford a CGT.

The owner of these supercars here normally arent doing that kind of work. A rather hardworking guy in my neighborhood who owns a lot of exotics (though due to attempted robbery he had to hide his stash) owns a garbage collection company. This is for a city the size of New York. Another one runs a recruitment agency to send exotic dancers to Japan. Yet another one owns a pawnshop. I know of only one rich family that's into land grabbing though I do not want to name names. Ask the fellow with a picture of himself beside an Enzo for such info.

The owner of the Porsche dealership made his money in the local stock exchange.

Those sweat shops RC's talking about are subcontracted by companies from 1st world nations. A lot of companies here follow our Labor Code when it concerns compensation & working environments.

I guess it's ok to sit and enjoy the artifacts and collections of Nazi's for what the collections were - and ignore the fact that the wealth was accumulated by theft, corruption and murder?

Anyone who thinks a busiess such as garbage collection in a corrupt badly regulated country is not successful through corruption, intimidation and criminal activity is quite naive - nice car or not...

I totally agree. Hell, garbage collection is a mafia-run operation even in Canada and the U.S.
