Default Water Droplets - My Pics!

Hey guys,

I tried this a while ago with my old camera, but I decided to give it a shot tonight with my D70. I was really happy with the results, the drops came out very clear this time and with minimal noise. I also added a few other pictures of water related things.

Enjoy!

Lucas

If my memory serves me right he uses 28-80 Nikkor lens. Am I correct, Lucas?

you got it! I also used a skylight filter to prevent to lens from getting wet in case of an accident

Very nice work Titanboy!!

Great to see such results made with a D70
Another great way to shoot water drops is snapping them on flowers and on your lawn when it has grown quite high I'm really fond of the detail in the water drop itself, for example you can still see a silouette of the tap in one of them.

Keep shooting them

Cheers

If you want to minimize noise even more, use Photoshop and/or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. That does the trick realllll good.

Im not into water droplets either. But I could be if the droplets were hitting...say....a nipple, lips, cheeks etc.. I think it would bring out the esthetics of the water droplets better and give you a more visually stunning effect.

I took some pics like that some time ago

Your results were better, though:
