Water Droplets - My Pics!
Hey guys,
I tried this a while ago with my old camera, but I decided to give it a shot tonight with my D70. I was really happy with the results, the drops came out very clear this time and with minimal noise. I also added a few other pictures of water related things. Enjoy! Lucas http://givemealook.com/ipw-web/gallery/album580 |
Im really not into water droplets ( ), but the pics are amazing... :P
The can of coke looks good too, right outta the fridge yeh... |
Awesome pics Lucas! What speed were you shooting at?
|
Thanks! Shutter speed was 1/8000 but I also used the flash.
|
Wow nice pics mate!
What lens where you using to take the pics? any filters? |

Very nice work Titanboy!!
Great to see such results made with a D70 :D Another great way to shoot water drops is snapping them on flowers and on your lawn when it has grown quite high  I'm really fond of the detail in the water drop itself, for example you can still see a silouette of the tap in one of them. Keep shooting them Cheers |
If you want to minimize noise even more, use Photoshop and/or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. That does the trick realllll good.
|
Classique... now you need to try your hand at trying to capture a flame.
|
Lucas, every gallery you post is surprising us once more.
Great shots Looking for the next one... :D |
hey titanboy, those pics are amazing, but i think the watter should look blue

Im not into water droplets either. But I could be if the droplets were hitting...say....a nipple, lips, cheeks etc.. I think it would bring out the esthetics of the water droplets better and give you a more visually stunning effect.
|
I took some pics like that some time ago
Your results were better, though: http://www.supercars.net/pitlane/pics/1027228asmall.jpg http://www.supercars.net/pitlane/pics/1027228bsmall.jpg |
