I think it is in the wrong section, it happens. And i wouldn't take your German killer statement to the extreme. Not much can beat a twin turbo Merc in a straight line, so i beg to differ. But i'm sure it can take an A-Class

I'm not just talking about top speed.
These cars would also own you acceleration wise AND in top speed.
I'm ignorant ?
I think you are the one being ignorant.
You claim people are jealous of your car.
Why would they ?
Because you drive a Honda?
The only Honda's I respect are the NSX and the Civic Type-R.
Those are the only two I would drive, the rest ... never in my life.
Can you read this, NEVER.
As far as performance goes, there are ALOT of German cars that would whoop your ass.
You do NOT stand a chance against these cars, acceleration, top speed, handling, whatever.
Here's a short list of some of them (multiply this list with 50 and you wil get an idea of how many German cars will beat you hands down):
BMW E30 M3 (238hp)
BMW E36 M3 (321hp)
BMW E46 M3 (343hp)
BMW E28 M5 (286hp)
BMW E34 M5 (340hp)
BMW E39 M5 (400hp)
BMW E60 M5 (507hp)
BMW E24 M6 (286hp)
BMW E63 M6 (507hp)
BMW Z8 (400hp)
BMW Z3 M Roadster (321hp)
BMW Z3 M Coupe (321hp)
BMW Z4 M Roadster (343hp)
BMW E38 750i
BMW E32 750i

Porsche 911 Turbo 993
Porsche 911 Turbo 997

Good luck with your car and congratulations with building a fast engine.
But there are alot of people that still wouldn't want your car.
Sorry, reality can be hard sometimes.

Ever ridden in an E30 M3? I have and it seems not too dissimilar to that video you just posted. And an E36 M3 (was in one yesterday so its nice and fresh in my memory ) would piss all over that honda.
Its impressive to get such performance from a 1.8 4 pot yes, but there's no reason to go round saying 'it'll spank this and that' when it clearly wont!!! Its quick, im sure good fun and can be chucked round a track quicker than most, so stop bragging about straight line when that aint what that car is about.

Amen coombsy, a well driven recent M3 would beat that car imo, mainly because its a rear wheel drive car whereas the 'teg is fwd of course and will struggle for grip...
And before I get labelled a Honda hater, I'm on my third now, a black ITR as it happens and I think its a fantastic car - but I'm not blinkered about its performance either.
On track they can harass many faster cars, only last weekend I chased two Imprezas for quite a few laps until they let me past. It doesn't mean I think my car is faster, just that on the day I was able to keep wth them...
My car ontrack
I have a friend with an E30 M3 and performance wise we are about equal, on road or circuit.
props on getting 240bhp from the B18 though, I bet it flies for an 1800

so the B18C6, the Integra Type R DC2 engine indeed, very nice car and amazing performance for just a Inline-4 1800 cc non turbo engine. Thanks for the video

hahaha all the people hating on b18c6 .Just make me laugh ...did you ever see
the dc2 from fat bradstart ,it was destroying m3 e46 on the freeway.Ah and this car has lsd too which means more grip than any other fwd
ps :der abt ,it is not because you love luxury cars that everyone loves these cars.
you should not compare this to 750 i or amg cause these cars need turbo or
compressor to make power not b18c6.and the reliability is better on b18c6 than any other bm or merc .
update look here : http://www.japancar.fr/forum/viewtop...er=asc&start=0
civic type r modified vs supra HONDA RULES

I work for honda and I will tell you right now that Honda doesn't rule in the HP game yeah they make great power for what they are but you can't honestly think that they are the best things out there especially the b18 engines. yes they can be reliable but when people are putting so much crap onto them and not tuning them right as seen by most kids who drive them they become very unreliable.
Oh and 240 crank hp is not hard to get on a B18 at all so nothing to really brag about.

i want to live so i dont drive american cars .when you sai i work for acura honda, good for you.I am unemployed and i don't care.when you say:that Honda doesn't rule in the HP game ,you i tell ya that 240 hp is excellent on a 1.8 l n/a
engine====this is true power. It is not like a turbo car ,that power for me is like the car was on steroid.
