b18c6 240 hp tacho vid 0-220 kmh update civic type r vs supr
hi
b18c6 engine modified to 240 hp  what do you think? ah and here is a video of the car it is 0-220 kmh http://users.skynet.be/DrSquale/5.avi it can kill bmw's ,mercedes specially german cars :alienflip: civic type r vs supra bye bye supra http://www.japancar.fr/forum/viewtop...days=0&postord er=asc&start=0 |
I think it is in the wrong section, it happens. And i wouldn't take your German killer statement to the extreme. Not much can beat a twin turbo Merc in a straight line, so i beg to differ. But i'm sure it can take an A-Class
|
dude you are simply jealous, simple as that
|
Ok, now it is pretty fast, but there are alot of BMW's, Mercs, AUDI's, Porsche's,... who can beat that acceleration and most certainly the top speed.
Here's a list of cars just from BMW that would own you all day long: BMW E30 3 Series M3 S14 4 cylinder 195 HP 225 km/h 1986 - 1989 M3 kat S14 4 cylinder 200 HP 225 km/h 1986 - 1989 M3 S14 4 cylinder 215 HP 230 km/h 1989 - 1992 M3 Evo 2 S14 4 cylinder 220 HP 244 km/h 1988 M3 Evo 3 S14 4 cylinder 238 HP 250 km/h 1990 BMW E36 3 Series: 325i M50 6 cylinder 192 HP 233 km/h 1990 - 1994 328i M52 6 cylinder 193 HP 236 km/h 1994 - 1998 M3 S50 6 cylinder 286 HP 250 km/h 1994 - 1996 M3 S52 6 cylinder 321 HP 250 km/h 1996 - 1997 BMW E46 3 Series 325i M54 6 cylinder 192 HP 240 km/h 2000 - 2005 328i M52 6 cylinder 193 HP 240 km/h 1998 - 2000 330i M54 6 cylinder 231 HP 250 km/h 2000 - 2005 M3 S54 6 cylinder 343 HP 250 km/h 2000 - present BMW E90 3 Series 325i 6 cylinder 231 HP 238 km/h 2005 - present 330i 6 cylinder 265 HP 250 km/h 2005 - present BMW E28 5 Series M5 S38 6 cylinder 286 HP 245 km/h 1985 - 1988 BMW E34 5 Series 530i M30 6 cylinder 188 HP 227 km/h 1988 - 1990 530i M60 8 cylinder 218 HP 235 km/h 1993 - 1995 535i M30 6 cylinder 211 HP 230 km/h 1988 - 1992 540i M60 8 cylinder 286 HP 250 km/h 1993 - 1995 M5 S38 6 cylinder 315 HP 250 km/h 1988 - 1992 M5 S38 6 cylinder 340 HP 250 km/h 1992 - 1995 BMW E39 5 Series 528i M52 6 cylinder 193 HP 236 km/h 1995 - 2000 530i M54 6 cylinder 231 HP 250 km/h 2000 - 2003 535i M62 8 cylinder 235 HP 242 km/h 1996 - 2000 535i M62 8 cylinder 245 HP 247 km/h 2000 - 2003 540i M62 8 cylinder 286 HP 250 km/h 1996 - 2003 M5 8 cylinder 400 HP 250 km/h 1998 - 2003 BMW E60 5 Series 525i M54B25 6 cylinder 192 HP 240 km/h 2003 - 2005 525i N52B25 6 cylinder 218 HP 245 km/h 2005 - present 525xi N52B25 6 cylinder 218 HP 240 km/h 2005 - present 530i M54B30 6 cylinder 231 HP 250 km/h 2003 - 2005 530i N52B30 6 cylinder 258 HP 250 km/h 2005 - present 530xi N52B30 6 cylinder 258 HP 250 km/h 2005 - present 540i 8 cylinder 306 HP 250 km/h 2005 - present 545i N62B44 8 cylinder 333 HP 250 km/h 2003 - 2005 550i 8 cylinder 367 HP 250 km/h 2005 - present M5 10 cylinder 507 HP 250 km/h 2005 - present BMW E24 6 Series 633CSi M30 6 cylinder 200 HP 215 km/h 1976 - 1982 635CSi M30 6 cylinder 218 HP 229 km/h 1978 - 1990 M635 CSi M88/3 6 cylinder 286 HP 255 km/h 1983 - 1989 M635 CSi cat. i don't care about top speed ,i am only interested in acceleration and i think that for a 1.8 liter ,it is better than any other engine .and sorry but you are a bit ignorant but it accelerates stronger than ANY 3 series engines m3 e30 is shit compared to this honda engine .oh i understand you are simply sad cos you dont have one
ps:buy yourself a honda and stop bragging about german cars being better than HONDA |
I'm not just talking about top speed.
These cars would also own you acceleration wise AND in top speed. I'm ignorant ? I think you are the one being ignorant. You claim people are jealous of your car. Why would they ? Because you drive a Honda? The only Honda's I respect are the NSX and the Civic Type-R. Those are the only two I would drive, the rest ... never in my life. Can you read this, NEVER. As far as performance goes, there are ALOT of German cars that would whoop your ass. You do NOT stand a chance against these cars, acceleration, top speed, handling, whatever. Here's a short list of some of them (multiply this list with 50 and you wil get an idea of how many German cars will beat you hands down): BMW E30 M3 (238hp) BMW E36 M3 (321hp) BMW E46 M3 (343hp) BMW E28 M5 (286hp) BMW E34 M5 (340hp) BMW E39 M5 (400hp) BMW E60 M5 (507hp) BMW E24 M6 (286hp) BMW E63 M6 (507hp) BMW Z8 (400hp) BMW Z3 M Roadster (321hp) BMW Z3 M Coupe (321hp) BMW Z4 M Roadster (343hp) BMW E38 750i BMW E32 750i BMW E65 750i BMW E65 760i BMW E65 745i BMW E32 740i BMW E38 740i BMW E38 735i BMW E32 735i BMW E34 540i BMW E39 540i BMW E39 530i BMW E34 530i BMW E46 330i BMW E90 330i BMW 535d AUDI S4 AUDI RS4 AUDI RS6 AUDI S8 AUDI S3 Mercedes C32 AMG Mercedes C55 AMG Mercedes E55 AMG Mercedes SL55 AMG Mercedes SL65 AMG Mercedes CLS55 AMG Mercedes S600 Mercedes S500 Porsche 911 Carrera 996 Porsche 911 Carrera 997 Porsche 911 Carrera 993 Porsche 911 Turbo 996 Porsche 911 Turbo 993 Porsche 911 Turbo 997 Porsche Boxster Porsche 911 GT2 Porsche Cayenne Good luck with your car and congratulations with building a fast engine. But there are alot of people that still wouldn't want your car. Sorry, reality can be hard sometimes. .................................................. ......................................... |

Its impressive to get such performance from a 1.8 4 pot yes, but there's no reason to go round saying 'it'll spank this and that' when it clearly wont!!! Its quick, im sure good fun and can be chucked round a track quicker than most, so stop bragging about straight line when that aint what that car is about. |
Amen coombsy, a well driven recent M3 would beat that car imo, mainly because its a rear wheel drive car whereas the 'teg is fwd of course and will struggle for grip...
And before I get labelled a Honda hater, I'm on my third now, a black ITR as it happens and I think its a fantastic car - but I'm not blinkered about its performance either. On track they can harass many faster cars, only last weekend I chased two Imprezas for quite a few laps until they let me past. It doesn't mean I think my car is faster, just that on the day I was able to keep wth them... My car ontrack I have a friend with an E30 M3 and performance wise we are about equal, on road or circuit. props on getting 240bhp from the B18 though, I bet it flies for an 1800 :D |
^^ Looks like your having some fun in that pic! Good work!!!  8)
|
I was :D that pic was taken during the Scoob run in so i wasn't being quite so lairy - on other laps I was able get the tail silding out quite nicely...
|
so the B18C6, the Integra Type R DC2 engine :P indeed, very nice car and amazing performance for just a Inline-4 1800 cc non turbo engine. Thanks for the video :D
|
hahaha all the people hating on b18c6 .Just make me laugh ...did you ever see
the dc2 from fat bradstart ,it was destroying m3 e46 on the freeway.Ah and this car has lsd too which means more grip than any other fwd  ps :der abt ,it is not because you love luxury cars that everyone loves these cars. you should not compare this to 750 i or amg cause these cars need turbo or compressor to make power not b18c6.and the reliability is better on b18c6 than any other bm or merc . update look here :http://www.japancar.fr/forum/viewtop...er=asc&start=0 civic type r modified vs supra HONDA RULES |
I work for honda and I will tell you right now that Honda doesn't rule in the HP game yeah they make great power for what they are but you can't honestly think that they are the best things out there especially the b18 engines. yes they can be reliable but when people are putting so much crap onto them and not tuning them right as seen by most kids who drive them they become very unreliable.
Oh and 240 crank hp is not hard to get on a B18 at all so nothing to really brag about. |
it is better to have 240 hp in a honda than 240 hp in an american car .you know
i want to live so i dont drive american cars .when you sai i work for acura honda, good for you.I am unemployed and i don't care.when you say:that Honda doesn't rule in the HP game ,you i tell ya that 240 hp is excellent on a 1.8 l n/a engine====this is true power. It is not like a turbo car ,that power for me is like the car was on steroid. |
^^ With that kind of english, i can see why you unemployed...
