Not all that bad of an idea though, I bet the PS3 will sell for at least 2.5k on ebay on the first day.

Well... there will be bunch of auctions that will end with $2500.00 high bids - that does not mean there will be a whole lot of people receiving $2500.00 payments for PS3's sold... :P

Theres a line outside my Best Buy already. I think I'm gonna go over there with a friend dressed as football players and pour a huge cooler of gatorade on one of them.

Since my experience with PS2, I am never buying a first batch electronic from Sony again. Got the Disc Read Error after 2 month of use.

didn't some kid that waited for the 360 for like 3 days get a free one and a tour of the microsoft HQ or something? so i am sure these kids are looking to get some pay back from waiting that long. I mean if they were giving out new cars for that cheap i would wait a hell of a long time.
