First a little C6 vs C5 show and tell. This is my buddies new C6 (you may remember his wicked Silver slammed C5-Z06 that sounded like Satan on steriods in the video of it idling)

I still don't like the C6 - GM lost the unique Vetteness with this one.. they tried too hard to make it look like something else.

It's a nice car - but it hasn't grown on me yet - and perhaps the performance of the C6-Z06 would let me look passed the ugly face..

I'm starting to like the new C6 but I prefer the C5 ass especially.

i see alot of the C5 in the C6. it looks like they only changed the front end and the ass. It just doesn't look as original as i hoped this generation would

I agree with you RC on this one.. the C6 is definitely less Vette and not as nice as the previous model. not so sure for the Viper.. I love the new one :D

I love the looks of the Camaro SS ... I saw the 1:32 slot version of it on Saturday and was sorely tempted to buy

I actually like the C6. It reminds me, and I know it's strange, of a Lotus Elise. The first time I saw it on the road, in June, I liked it. It seems so nimble. 8)

in the last pic with the Supra's what do you see? some may notice this nice two wheeled vehicle

the only bike I can think of that has exhaust like that is Ducati but I don't think it is.

The event was held at MTI - the GTO 455HO is an MTI special.

Funny you should say that - as if I am not mistaken, the gent who owns the GTO also has an F360, and a 550hp+ Corvette Z07 (another MTI special) back at the house.

SO I guess you could say he is hedging his bets... ;)

I think the new Vette and Viper estethically didn't improve, maybe I need to get used to them, but they sure improved technically ( just a little bit of course :wink: )

Is that orange Corvette by any chance Tuan Le's Vette ? He has a 2000 Pearl Metallic Orange Corvette. MTI 408 Iron Block Stroker, built specifically for nitrous.
