View Full Version : Please help me out
i know this might be a dumb question :?: :| (specially coming from a big BMW fan) but i couldn't figure out how u know the models by saying E36 E60 E whatever... i don't know what that stands for ?! i mean i have a 328i but i don't know if it is a E36 or what ... please tell me how it works :D :?:
Uhm.. well basically usually you simply know it :D the E36 was the 90's model, as mine (link in the picture), while the E46 is the present one... and before the E36 in the 3-Series there was the E30...
Now let's see if I can find a good site where all the models are listed with also their model indentification code...
Edit - this page could help: http://www.bmwworld.com/models/cars.htm scroll a little down and you will see :)

The E36 was the last 3 serie, the "new" 3 serie (from 1998 to now) is codenamed e46.
The E60 is the new BMW 5 serie.

to beat TT, first step is to post a message with only a "." as a message. Then edit it.
