Saw this Carrera GT yesterday, came driving towards me full throttle, I turned my car and had the oppertunity to take some pics:

I kinda love the very warm light at night in the campsites, and yet, some PS job or better, white balance before shooting the pics could have tamed it a bit.. or did you really show us that warm feeling? :D in that case there is nothing wrong :D

Yes my car was parked about 50 meters from that Viper, I will send you some pics from our place. I walked arround the campsite several times looking for the Meriveyron but I didn't see it, otherwise I would have visited you. Where on the campsite where you? And I am sorry that I couldn't meet on Saturday morning, I was with some friends and we had a busy scedule :cry:

I know he has a large collection of supercars. I sat in his Lambo LM002 some years ago.

Tomorrow the 7th Concours d'elegance Paleis Het Loo starts here in Holland. I don't have time to visit the concours this weekend, but this afternoon I had to be in Apeldoorn for work and I thought: I'll just have a look if I can have a look while they are building everything for this event. I jumped over a fence with my camera and in my costume :?

I wasn't expecting this ride other wise I would have called you ofcourse :wink:

And it was a hell of a ride, the car is so incredibly low, tight and noisy and than the hard suspension and the petrol smell. It was an unbelievable ride in this car based on a mid-sixties racer. And the car is build like the specs of the original, all steel and very very pure :D

The GT40 is build after the exact specifications of the original, so all dimensions are exactly the same. 90% of this car is interchangeable with the original. Damaged Ford GT40's use spareparts from this factory.
Some cars have been sold to people with original GT40's. They will use their Superformance GT40 for races.

It may look like new but it has already done 207.000 km, with it's first engine and without any problems. (enigine is a 2.5 liter 4 Cilinder, with 235 BHP)

It feels like a Racecar, the downforce is so impressive! You can adjust everything on this car the height of the car, all the wings/spoilers. The engine needs a lot of revs, red line is just under 8000 rpm. the car feels very explosive when it revs about 6000 rpm. The gearbox has a race set up, 1st gear is where you normally expect 2nd and 2nd is where you'd expect 3rd gear! You can imagine that it takes some before you get used to this :? But I can also tell you that I drove very carefull, there are no spare parts for this car available.

The engine sounds a bit like a Honda Type-R engine reading how many revs you can make and that it comes alive at high revs? But I guess you notice the real speed and racing feeling in the corners because of the Downforce?

And I can imagine that gearbox being hard at first!

I think it was the Vierhouten Pallets Rally, the guy in that Porsche owns that company that sponsors it, Vierhouten Pallets.

I fell in love with the ring Rory, it such an amazing place. And the track is just incredible. I heard and saw (video's) a lot about it but it's such an amazing experience to drive around this track!

Well, I finally found some time to work on some pics, these are all the Ferrari pics of the Nurburgring, there weren't many that day, but seeing the 360 with wing going around was pretty impressive.
