Sometimes I think that hiring a F355 or a Ferrari in a wedding would be a nice idea - but if I had been you... it would have been more like 'hey darling, see you in a week - I'm going to try this car through the french Alps!' :P :D

I have to admit, it crossed my mind :oops:

We had a great day, and I was very happy to drive the GTS because of the sound. I drove about 125 km that day, that was short for the amount of money you have to pay, but the memory's are priceless.

King Abdullah of Jordan and his beautifull wife Queen Rania visited the Spyker factory today. I didn't know this and accidentaly found out I couldn't get near the factory. After waiting for 15 minutes next to the helicopter of the Royal familie they appeared followed by 4 Spykers.
From what I have heard King Abdullah ordered a Spyker and signed the contract today.

That orange Gallardo is to die for - I never get tired of it! :D

The colour is very nice on this Lambo, but I didn't like the orange wich I saw on the Spyker this week, it's a bit darker I think and it's not a nice combination with all the chrome details.

But you really have to get out if you like to see them. This morning I was overtaken by 2 AM DB9 Volante's and a Conti GT (all together) on the A28, later that morning I passed an AM V8 Volante (the old one). Also seen several Maserati's today.

The DB9 at the back has green license plates, that means that the driver is taking it for a testdrive, you know from a dealer.

Maybe the salesman got bored and just grabbed the keys for a blast :D

A camera crew was filming with the orange Spyker C8 spyder yesterday. In the sun this car looks so much better!

Yes you are right, I think the car just came in at the dealer. I think it's to low with the spoiler attached to get the car on and off the lorry.

I think so Rory, when I saw it the car was tested by a TV crew, and they also used it at the wedding of Christiaan Albers. Don't think they would do that with a customer car. :bah:

It is a custom job, I think it is one of the cars for Mr De Boer, there was also a white Gaymen with the same stripes in the showroom of Pon.

Those Martini stripes could have looked good, but the finish isn't good IMO. Look at the decal finish around the GT3-badge. It's just a hole in the decal. On such a car the finish of a custom job should be perfect.

I visited the secret Ferrari collection again today. I had to bring some pictures and have a look at the changes in the collection. They changed the 275 GTB, they have got a new one now, wich is in excelent condition. They added an Arnage Red Label to the collection and a RR Phantom, wich wasn't there today. The 360 spider will leave within a few weeks. It was a short visit, but I will visit the collection again in the spring. Lets hope we can get outside again. The wheather was real bad this morning so I had to stay inside. The 5th picture is a see-through experiment. And I am the guy in the last pic.

My favourite one is the one most of us like the most, namely; the brand new grey GT3.

That pic should be in a magazine. I like the colour combination on that picture. Nothing fancy, nothing spectacular colourwise then. But that's what makes the picture so great, very very smooth. And the car is bonkers !!! :)

The licence plate on the yellow RS4 is the same as on the yellow Gallardo that P-Zerro-Rosso had a photoshoot with at Francochamps. Also owned by a Swedish guy, so no need to say he has a nice garage back in Sweden :-)
BTW; I saw that Gallardo a few times at the ring last year, guy semms to love the VLN-races as well.

I just found out the T10-SRT is the ex-Stacey car, Stacey became the dutch rally champion of 2001 with this car. Martin van Iersel owns the car at the moment and wants to drive the car in the dutch rally championship this year. He still has a lot to learn, judging the pic above...

Those Impreza's were different. The Impreza of Dirk Boers is a 1999 WRC and this is a 1998 WRC. Mark Breijer drove also a 1998 Impreza. That was also a different one because Breijer and Stacey had big battles in 2001 with both a 1998 Impreza WRC. This red one was however driven by Bert de Jong from 1998 to 2000.

You are right stoopie, the owner of this 599 also has a nice collection of F's. Like F40, F50 and Enzo and a lot of other V8's and V12's.

I went out with 5 Ferrari's and a Gallardo last Saturday, the owner of the 360 spider gave me the keys and let me drive it for about 40 kms. It such an awesome car! Roof down doing 8500 rpm and playing with the flappy pedal gear shift :mrgreen:

I have also driven several 348's and 355's in the past, all of them with manual, zo I know the great sound.
The flappy pedal box is a nice gimmick, but I would prefer a manual on my own car.

Ahh i see there are many updates since i last commented. The 360 spyder looks very cool and you are a lucky bugger to get to drive it :shock: . That orange gallardo spyder just says 'wow' everytime i see a picture of it :mrgreen: That grey 308gtb looks very cool and good luck with the shoot peter :wink: . I love that gt3 with the martini striping and that jarama is a very rare site indeed. Thanks for sharing those :wink:

I saw some nice cars yesterday, Phantom, Conti Flying Spur, several Maserati's, white 997 GT3 and a Vd Brink Carver (all of them on public road).
