Belgiums are just not so clever. At the end of last year, a Belgium minister signed a contract that the Belgium government would finance the whole grand prix of belgium till 2010. This means the government had to pay about 210 million euro's...

But the minister didn't understand english, so he signed something he didn't understand, now he aperently does understand and the race is off.

lol, I'm not here to defend our prime minister and I do not know exactly everything what happend round this matter. But what you said about: Belgians aren't so clever and can't understand english is purely bull shit.

How do you think he talked to Bush a while back? Do you think Bush speaks dutch perhaps?

We're one of the countries with the best language knowledge around. Ok, I suck at it, my spelling is pretty bad in no matter what language. But the belgian school system is one of the best.

Well he was pretty stupid to sign the contract in any case, if it's true.

It seems that F1 now has many problems. Hopefully, the actual racing will make up for the fact that many great grands prix have been cancelled/dropped from the calendar.

Why? They only need more time to renovate the track! I doubt he perverted the workers just in order not to have a GP at Spa this year

They don't need time, they need money, every time f1 is in Belgium, Spa a money problem of about 20 million euro's. That's the problem...

fuck bernie

Why?

cause i felt like saying so... i don't like the guy at all, in his quest for money hes willing to make anything... last time spa was taken out from the calendar was cause they didn't let tobacco sponsors, same thing happened with canada, and bernies solution is, instead of keeping the classic races, go to third world countries where tobacco sponsors are permitted (so he can earn more money) and leave classic races out of the calendar... maybe its not the case right now...

everyone who is trying to burn Ecclestone is stupid, and didn't even read the actical posted.

if anything he was trying to keep it in for this year. the right people to blame is the FIA

The Belgian Grand Pizzle at Spa-Francizzles has been dropped fizzy tha 2006 Formula 1 calendar, tha FIA has confirmed . Dogg House Records in the motha fuckin house.

Circuit officials were unable ta meet tha gang bangin' body's requirizzles fo` a major upgrade of pit n paddock facilizzles in time fo` this year's race, scheduled fo` Poser 17 dogg.

The FIA said in a statement ta help you tap dat ass: "The Belgian national sport'n authority, tha RACB, has written ta notify tha FIA of tha witdrawal of tha 2006 Belgian Grand Pizzy fizzle tha FIA Formula 1 world championship.

"The witdrawal has been mizzle in gangsta ta allow tha completion of extensive improvement wiznork ta facilizzles at tha Spa-Francizzles circuit.

"The FIA hopes tizzy tha event wizzy be included once again in tha Formula 1 world championship calendar from 2007 onwards."

Spa's future has been in doubt since tha rizzy baller Brotha Defourney Grand Prix went bankrupt last year n we out.

The regional Walloon government balked at Bernie Ecclestone's insistence thizzay it was legally obliged ta pick up tha tab fo` tha event (which has bizzle loss-mak'n in recent years) until 2010.

Reports over tha Christmas period suggested Ecclestone was prepared ta compromise n was close ta hatin' a new three-year deal ta safeguard tha rizzy . Relax, cus I'm bout to take my respect.

But a fortnight ago a local politizzle told tha Belgian media that he had been notified by Ecclestone's office that this year's race would not go aheezee – a claim dismissed by tha FIA at tha time so i can get mah pimp on.

Despite tha prospect of its return'n ta tha calendar in 2007, tha loss of F1's miznost majestic circuit F-R-to-tha-izzom this season's schedule wizzay be keenly felt by F1 F-to-tha-izzans, who routinely name Spa among they favourite venues.
