Saw this GT2 today....i think its the new model since the rims are different.

Its still a 996, the rims are an option in the Porshe tuning range, the 997 GT2 wont be around for a long time, if ever, because the 997 range wont last long before the 998 range is introduced.

And I think he just means the latest 996 GT2 version, wich has those GT3 style rims fitted stock since 2005 I think!

The mk2 was introduced in summer 2003 here so the first ones were probably delivered in 2004 :wink:
So long ago??????? :shock: hell, time is flying lately :D

Yep, the GT2 is already an old car just good to be collected and stocked beside some old elvis vinyls :mrgreen:

Nice sighting. I never saw one with the GT3 rims.
