Peugeot has announced that it will return to the 24 Heures du Mans in 2007.
The return to the circuit of La Sarthe will be part of a tough challenge: to become the first manufacturer to win the world’s greatest endurance race with a diesel engine.
Peugeot’s announcement today, Tuesday June 14 2005, that the last French marque to win at Le Mans (in 1992 and 1993) would be returning, revived thoughts of great battles between major car constructors.
