This looks like a real F40 to me. Although the wing has been modified, but other than that it doesnt look like a replica. Sounds like a real F40 too. But I could be wrong. Interesting Vid, that thing is pretty fast, but I wish the sound quality was better.

About that wing, the F40 LM Competitzione has such a wing. :wink: Don't know but that front looks not from a real F40 :? I mean not that sharp edged or something...

I wasn't sure myself, but it said replica where I found the link. Maybe move it over to Scuderia and let the experts decide :-)

The car is definetely a replica. There is an entire website dedicated to its construction. It's running a Turbocharged Lexus V8 of significantly larger displacement than the 2.9L unit in the original car. You can see some of the differences between the replica and the real thing if you look closely. For instance, the roof is a bit too long and squared-off...the rear deck is also a bit too long, as is the nose. The engine doesn't sound like the raucous clattery V8 in the real F40, but like a more cultured, dare I say it, American V8 out of some muscle car.

The more I watch the Video the less it sounds and looks like an F40. It just seems to lack that rawness to it. Also when it takes the corners, it really swings that rear end around, no F40 would do that. The F40 is a solidly planted car that would either bite down and take off or spin out. Its very hard to go sideways undercontroll.
