When Dario Benuzzi drove it for the first tests, he was soon faster than the 333SP...imagine...a newborn car, at the first test, faster than a prototype for the IMSA series!!! :shock: :shock:

It sounds like a Formula 1...only 3 were built if I'm not wrong.

yes and no.

3 were completely built, and 3 more were in the process (their chassis were ready).
When the series the F50 GT was intended for was closed before it even started, the first 3 cars were sold to privateers, but they weren't allowed to race them.
the 3 remaining chassis were destroyed by court order. :(

Thanks for the link KaBlookie! I've seen pictures of the F50 GT but never seen it in action, so this is great. Also, the high quality pictures are a plus too.

o yea, this guy also let somone drive his car and fuckin crashed it, not totaled but dammmn a million dollar crashed by someone besides the owner on a track :fist:
