after the 9 episodes, whats next? the program continue or take a brake?
Usually a season is 10 episodes.. it was 9 only once because apparently there was not enough money.. and it takes a break.. there are two seasons every year: Spring and Autumn..

It was on Top Gear a couple years ago :)
To be more precise, it was on the episode shown on the 10th of November 2002 :P
Idd a season is normally 10 episodes + 1 Best Of episode. Only during series 3 they had only 9 episodes + 1 Best Of.
ill take a vanquish over a 575 anyday of the week. Also the 575 replacement is suppose to be called the 600 or something. But displacement is bumped to 6.0 liters i believe.

Yeah I think it will be a close battle. Isnt the 575 faster? The Ferrari has historically been given high praise for its handling.

cant wait for the zonda ;) Vanquish vs 575 should be interesting although the ferrari should be technically better and faster but i reckon jeremy will choose the Vanquish..... as is the case in this months magazine.
Lets hope they spend more than 2 minutes on each supercar like they did last week :P

Well...that's only partially true. The 550 was given extremely high praise for its handling, including the Autocar magazine Driver's car of the Year status. However, the 575 without the GTC pack has not had the same ratings. The reviews I've seen reckon that the rear end is too soft and wallowy. However, the GTC pack is supposed to really transform the car and make it into the driver's car it was originally intended to be. The Sports Dynamic pack on the Vanquish has a similar effect. Anyway, should be an interesting comparison, can't wait :-D

Yeah, i did mean the 575 with the GTC pack. I remember reading in evo how the standard 575 was off the mark.
If i remember correctly, the 550 came first in evo's car of the decade (or something like that) comparison test, beating the 911 GT3. So, if the 575M GTC isn't similarly good, i would be surprised.

Pretty good episode, that aero 8 was SWEET, i saw the 1st one ever to roll off the build line at lemans this year. If you can get over the looks its one hell of a car!
The Nurburgring part was excellent, nice to see JC so worked up!! haha, oh and do i spy an OMEGA Seamaster on his arm?? :wink: Good tase JC good Taste

yeah the aero 8 sounded fantastic!
i absolutely love the merc 300sl - its gorgeous
and the ring feature was dam good.
Not the usual reel of hypercars but definately a good episode

No idea really but surely to compete it would have to be one of the most powerful i can't remember which they have reviewed already

sounds like its going to be a fun episode, the rally car part is made here in Norway, and the driver is Petter Solbergs older brother Hening Solberg..... :D

Indeed, the FQ400 could even smash the Murcielago at least on a short distance! I would really like to see the monster in action!

I did a search and couldnt find anything, but has anyone uploaded Jeremy Clarksons special on modern cars vs old cars. It was called Hot Metal, and he talks about, well just about everything from the last year, vs stuff from the past. I just got it after waiting 3 weeks for it to get mailed to me, and just uploaded it to my computer, and it was easily the best car video I've ever seen.
If it has already been posted, sorry, I couldnt find it. But if not, is there anyway for me to send it to Jabba to get posted?

Oh man, I cannot wait to see them test that evo, that is going to be fucking sweet!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Also, I am interested to see what they will say about the new Mustang, as general consensus in the states is that, for the money, its an outstanding car, which is more than could be said about the old mustang (other than the SVT). I think it really moved forward in just about every area of performance.

Without question this is going to be one of THE all time favorites!! My oppinion of the 612 has certainly gotten a lot better. I want to tell you about all the cars that are in it... but I won't... what an episode!!
There were allways 3 to 4 girls in the room (at my student home) who wanted to see Miss Belgium (wich is still on) but I managed to see Top Gear. Had to fight every 5 minutes for the remote (not with my fists, with words of course - they're girls :-)) but saw all but the first 10 minutes. And I'll be awake till I've seen those too!
