Austin Mini 1972 Mk2 1000, restoration job.

This is my cousin’s mini which is going through a full restoration job.
As u can see theres a lot of work to be done, but bit by bit it will get there. :D

This Model is a Austin Mini 1000 Mk2 from 1972 and when he bought it it was a complete piece of junk. :(
In fact it was on it’s way to recycling. He bought it for £50 I think, but has invested almost £4000 so far. :o
The bodywork was completely rebuilt (and not finished yet), the engine put into pieces and rebuilt with some new parts. :D
New carpets, refurbish seats, new headlamps, new roof, new floor, etc.

Would like to know what u guys think of it so far.
I would also like to ask TT if it could be in one of the Photoshop competitions.

seems a few ppl on JW are involved in mini-restorations
