No its not. The chassis of a car is designed for a particular amount of power. Overloading git gives you all kinds of problems (look at the CL65, or the morons who stuff V8's in Sevens). No, if you have a chassis designed for that kind of load, then were talking. :D

MB doesnt just do a half ass job. If the chassis wasnt designed to support that they wouldnt of done it.

6.3L V8 at front? What kind of handling character do you expect? When did MB get that idea from old school American big "V8 "striaght line" only sedan?

Well Audis 4.2Litre V8 in the S4 weights the same as the old 2.7 V6. The new C55 seems to handle well according to journalists so a 6.3 Litre engine sounds ok to me.
Great another car from Merc where you cant have the traction controll off until your in 3rd gear. Ill take a M any day over this. Watch the M3 still beat if because of its lightweight.

I started smiling once i love the good chassis with big big engines, and i like the merc due to its built quality and confort, in my opinion, though the current c55 should be replaced by the supercharged 5500 engine from the E55 even with a similar amount of power as the future C63. Anyway its good news to heard stuff like this, once merc is surprising me constantly since its launching of the C43 AMG about some years ago

The C63 merc with some mechanical differential(as the current BMW M5) which works when the stability and the traction controls are disconnected, and accompanied with a gearbox similar to the Audi in efficiency will be almost an ideal car for me
A C63 I have no doubt that MB could pull it off and do a excellent job, but why would you buy a C class with that much power, the C class is suppose to be the entry level sedan, so why let AMG tune it to death?

^ I guess those C55 owners are still complaining that they are not keeping up with the E46 M3s LOL
