My new site - ozcarsightings.com
www.ozcarsightings.com
Following the lead of TT and a few others I finally decided to make a site for all my car pics. I've spent most of the last week learning HTML and then doing alot of copy&paste.....fun to start with but bloody annoying by the end. :bah:
Its obvioulsy based on TT's design (which I asked him about before going ahead), with some subtle changes here and there.
There are still a few galleries to be completed (Porsche, Mercs and a few events...), but most of it is there. Alot of my older pics I haven't put on the site since looking back I am not happy with them.
So get the word out, and if it can be half the success of SCS.com then I will be happy.
I also have to thank Ash (who you guys don't know) for helping me out with a few probs, and providing the hosting for free! There is 7.5GB of space and 300GB monthly transfers so the more then enough.
Feedback/comments are welcome, and any 'bugs' (already one I know of that I'm working on) you notice let me know.

Nice to see it online! For sure an original choice the green background Did you try something in the brown/orange shade, reminding the Ayers Rock color or the outskirt in a general way?
Little problem already: on the homepage, the thumbs for the updates aren't working. Same for the the DB4 thumb in the archive
Best of luck with your website, be sure to update it on a regular basis to keep it alive
As for the hosting package, impressive... 300 GB of b/w wil be impossible to reach LOL

I like it very much.
At first I thought, tht the green colour would bother me, but I changed my mind after about 3 seconds.
I hope the "photoshoot" section get's some new entries soon
When you hit the site, the pic that greets people is amazing 8)
I wish you luck with the site. But you ain't going to need it. The great pics will do all the work! 8)
*EDIT*
everything ok with the thumbnails here 8)

Well I chose green with gold/yellow text as they are the official colours of Australia.....but your idea is not bad and I might play around with it to see what it looks like.

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about this place, it will get a mention somewhere.

You will hopefully see where TT is going to be putting a small JW banner during an experimental banner swap idea in the next few days and it would be great if you could do the same.

I have a few smaller things in the pipeline - no Italian supercars though.

Weird for the thumbs.. I really can't see them, not even trying to just open the direct link to them

Some of the galleries are empty as I haven't finished them all....
I've just done the Porsche galleries, so the GT3 pics should be there now.
