Default Hello from Wisconsin

Been on the board now a couple of weeks and figured I'd say hello from southern Wisconsin in the United States.

Love the site and have really enjoyed getting many great videos off the torrents so far - so much so I have bought a new DVD player that plays XVID so I can watch directly on my TV.

As far as myself, I grew up a few miles away from Road America - you could hear the cars racing in the distance during summers from where I lived. I currently live in the Metro Milwaukee area.

Not much special in my car stable, a 2004 Saturn Ion and a 2006 Yamaha Vino 125. Neither are overly sporting, but enjoyable to me nonetheless.

Thanks all! Glad to be here and glad I found it. I do plan to stick around (or I wouldn't have paid!) Seems like a nice community, and the videos are certainly worth it.

Welcome Matt!
Your username is very similar to another Aussie member we have - MattK.
You're in good company though. Enjoy.

^Haha, I was just about to say that! My connection to Wisconsin is actually not as remote as it seems - my father occasionally goes there for work-related purposes as his head office of his division (which is in itself a multi-national corporation) is in Pewaukee.

Sweet! Someplace I can crash when I come to RA!!!!!

Honestly - I love RA...there are lots of American tracks with lots of history, nostalgic appeal, etc...but I honest have to say that I think that Road America is the most beautiful track in the states. It really really reminds me of a classic track layout in one of the most prestine areas of the states.

I just came on board so it's backward of me to welcome you but cheers anyway!
