The reason is very simple. I remember a programme in which Jeremy said that BMW was expecting them to test the new 1-series, but that they decided not to test it. Everybody laughed of course, but without knowing the real reason of it  .
The scaglietti was tested. Not only in Top Gear but also in Fifth Gear, at the same time as BMW 645 ci. I think it was Richard Hammond the driver.
And the Land Rover Discovery...are you joking?  . Jeremy has tested and has compared it to the Range Rover (his favourite 4x4).

No, no! It was three enzos, a slr and a cgt, and it didn't jump long enough, so it crushed the cgt!! Bad memory?

As you will notice I was the person that uploaded that video onto RF...therefore I think its fair to say that I might know which programme its from...and it was of course from fifth gear and NOT top gear as you say.

Very late to see this, But LMAO anyway, it really does amaze me how people still get the two programmes confused It even says on the fuckin description 5th Gear tests the 612 Scaglietti :roll:

When TG tests a car, they will write about it in the meg before showing the clips on TV. It's just a matter of patience
