Always remember, just because illusionist say they aren't using any camera tricks doesn't mean they aren't using any camera tricks. Also remember that actors are very plentiful.

I used to like this guy, but then at some point, he started to rub me the wrong way. He looks like a meth dealer from Jersey.

You're right. I've run into some of his camera crews setting up to do the "street scenes" near where I work and all the stunned bystanders were hanging out - getting instructions from the producers, etc. They were telling them where to stand and where not to stand so their shadows were cast correctly - and I can only imagine that would be because of mirrors.

On the flipside - he's getting his own Cirque du Soleil show at the Luxor which is a pretty big deal in this town at least. Those things, even the crappy ones, sell like f'n CRAZY. $150 per seat. $90 for obstructed view!!!

Yep, it is nothing more than another form of entertainment.

The water walk is an easy one he is walking on plexi glass right under the water. if you look closely at the people walking in front of him they look down so they don't hit it when they squeeze through the opening. and when he drops his shoe he doesn't drop it directly under him he drops it slightly forward and the camera man is constantly looking at his side so as to not hit the walk way.
