Default F430 0-60 in 3.5 from Car and Driver magazine

I saw this on SC.net. I don't know if I should post this in the Scans Section or here, but decided to post here since it's Ferrari related.

Car and Driver tested the new F430 and got some amazing results.

0-60 in 3.5
1/4 mile in 11.7@123 mph

It's ok here, we would have accepted it both ways I suppose
And since the scans are pretty small, using the IMG tags isn't a problem

very impressive results, a shame they could do a skidpad test, but either way those accelerations are nice. thanks for the article

Gosh sounds like perfection. Thanks for the scan Mayer, it raises the question for Ferrari 'where to now?' Is there any rumours on a Challenge 430?

The accelleration is crazy compared to what ferrari and the magazine were suspecting it to do. They though 4.0 sec flat and low 12's at best in the 1/4 mile, but 3.5 and 11.7 is amazing for the power this car has. 360 CS didn't even has those times. Maybe the weather was just perfect, i dunno.

Dayum! Even if you deduct a few tenths to compensate for the downward slope of the track that is really fast times recorded for the F430.

Pretty big step up from the 360 CS. I thought with the extra weight it would not corner as well as the CS...
