Default F40LM Competizione

Saw the ad on this F40LM, and was once again  ... If only was rich...

The ad reads:
"The last factory built F40 LM. Chassis No: 99401. 1994 F40 LM Competizione - the very last example, chassis number ZFFGX34X000099401 and engine number F120B20. Barely 60 miles run! Never raced, fabulous condition, superior engine compartment. Never damaged, always suitably stored, documented history."
Richies, don't miss this chance to get the last genuine F40 LM!

I wonder how much money it will cost to get it running properly. How can anyone own an F40 LM and have 60 miles on it?! That one is going to need to some expensive servicing before you drive it... Fantastic car though, although I think a 'regular' F40 would be the better car for road use.

How sad that this car is rotting like a corpse in the earth..

It may polished and waxed - but is no better than a scale model right now...

If only it was used as intended.

Standard, it is not for road use. But you could make it road legal. Just look at the F40 LM that was in the PLayers Run. Not many potential buyers of such a car would buy it for the track alone I think.

Sad as it is, but you can't decline that it is really great to see a perfect example like this still exist.

For me its even more beautiful and more exciting than the F40....thats its not road legal?...i dont think so that its a big problem, since there are many special cars able to be driven on the road in a totally legal way such as any rallying car regardless the cars modification such as the group B cars, the Group A, the Kit Cars, the WRC...........

Engine Twin-Turbo V8
Displacement: 2936 cc
Power: 720bhp @ 7500 rpm (I've also seen 700 bhp @ 8100 rpm)
Torque: 520 lb-ft @ ? rpm
Top Speed: 230 mph
Weight: 1100 kg
Gearbox: sequential 6-speed

Insane stuff, isn't it??

Here's also a closeup pic of wheel on the F40 LM GTE with new 18" wheels (were 17s on the original LM) (Did you know that this devil had carbon fiber discs???), wow!!

and another one of the engine bay; a beauty, isn't it??

You can recognize the GTE easily through its hood openings.

Here's an LM GTE smoking a Mclaren f1
