^^^^^
old mustangs are among the most common run old muscle cars, and contrary to what alex is saying, they are quite reliable.

if its in good running order, and after you have a mechanic isnpect it; 6000 seems like a bargin.

its not that terribly powerful, but for its small size, it does feel quite good, and the old small block in it is quite workable, and cheap too.

digo! u live in israel?

woah thats so cool.

jesus lived there ^.^

P.S. make sure u get the car fully inspected before purchase.

because there are many 1/2 finished/rebuilt cars out there.

n if u get full inspection, you wont be buying a potential problem.

old convertibles = hassle

1. because they ez to break into, and can be dmged VERY ez.

2. because it is extra pay to go out n get it fixed or repaired.

of the classic mustangs ive looked at 10-12,000 seems to be the magic number for good body quality/ rear end and engine in working order; not to mention suspension is in good shape too. ive only seen 71 and newer fastbacks go for much higher (besides mach 1/boss/shelby)

really, the best place to buy such a car is in michigan if you are looking for quality/deal... and in the desert if you want a 'no rust' guarenteed vehicle, but dont care so much about the mechanicals.

do people break into convertables much in washington? not really here at all

forget it.. unless your buying a good one @US.. and have it shipped it would cost more then buying one here (and we have some for sale for about 20-25K) and if your serious.. talk to the 5Club (http://www.5club.org.il/)
