there were no ferraris in GT1 so who cares?


when Ferrari is not present the sport looses all of its cred

Actually there was a trio of 550 Maranellos in GT1.

old and retired...Surprised they still raced them...not even 575s...

Damn... the #009 Aston was in the lead of the GT1 class and 4th in general about 4 hours before the race. Then, traditionally, something went wrong with the downshifting and they fell back many places. nice win for the Corvette, just shows that both speed, talent and durability is essential in order to gain the first spot.

Yay!! I won $50 at work. One of the guys I work with hates Corvettes, I told him they'd win, he said no, now he owes me money!

Yes, congratulations to Panoz. Maybe this will be the kick in the butt Porsche needs to start really racing again, instead of spending its efforts at building SUV's and 4 door sedans.
