Default Nearly died myself!

I was going down this huuuuge hill with my bike (no, not motorcycle and I hit this fucking bump, which sent my back wheel to the right really bad (I was going like 50 km/h).....I steered to put in some "oposite lock" and my back wheel just fucking snapped. It's bent all the way to hell. I took some pics, which I'll post tomorrow! I fell down pretty bad....lucky me I landed on really tall grass, and I guess that helped me alot. I wasn't wearing a helmet or any protection gear.......stupid me....just short sleeves...

I'm glad I only got away with a few minor scratches. The interesting thing is that I started laughing like a motherfucker! I have the whole thing on tape and I think I'll send it to Real TV or funniest videos or some crap like that. Maybe I'll post that too ! LMAO..I'm sooo glad I got away with nothing serious...I don't even gife a fuck about the bike. Just the thought that I'm safe makes me say "fuck the bike, I'll just buy another one"...or fix this one

i think this is the reason why i stopped riding my bicycle.. at first i was upset when those guys stole it, but 4 years later, i can walk straight, but i still have scars all over.. good to hear you made it through it unhurt, and let us know if it ever airs on tv.. what part of canada (i believe that's where you said you're from) are you from?

I live in Kitchener, ON.
You know what the interesting part is? I've been riding bikes since I was
3 1/2 and I've been doing krazy things on the bike for soo long..... I never fell once! This is the first time I ever fell with my bike. I was truly lucky not to be hurt and everything. The bike seems fixable....I just need to replace the back wheel.

no way, i was just in guelph on monday with my sister to drop off her university application form..
when you ride that long, something is bound to happen, whether it be a fall, or what you did.. either way, i'd much rather fix a back wheel then have my leg in a cast or worse

 Dam Glad ya didnt get hurt Mihai! I used to Race Mountain Bikes a few years back to keep in shape for motocrossing and took more than my fair share of wipeouts attempting stuff I could easily do on a motorcycle but bicycles don't have the stability or that magic *grab a handful of throttle* to save it! LOL, Ive snapped frames made by the best of them: Cannondale, Ritchey, Fisher. Destroyed big Bux stuff by the truck load, mostly doing jumps and wheelie turns at radical lean angles. I'm a big guy 6'3" and always well over 200lbs so they never would last, problem was knowing when the crap was going to break.... always at the worst most inoppertune time. Either way the hell from home or when someone has a camera, the idiot in me has to show off and eat shit for the camera! LOL Problem with bicycles is your always dam near naked! Road Rash Sux!!

Yeah, crochico, that's why I said "fuck the bike"....I'll just fix it. I'm glad I'm O.K. and that's it. I guess the whole thing was shocking, because I never fell of my bike before.
Holy crap, KH How the heck can you break a frame? DAMN!
I mean I'm 6' myself and I weigh somewhere around 180 lbs, but it has never happened to me You must be really krazy
BTW: Are you feeling better? Give us some feedback!

Good thing that just the wheel broke and nothing on u!!

I have had my share of crashes on bicycles.. its probably because I think that I can pull of the impossible, truth is I am pretty useless
Its so much fun though 8)
CAnt beat the feeling blasting down a 30 degree singletrack with a sheer cliff on one sid and trees on the other waiting to show u the other side..

BADMIHAI-

Glad you came out of the ordeal relatively unscathed...next time ride w/ gear! And I still think that even if you do have 8-9 months of winter in canada; you can still ride (a motorcycle). As long as there's no rain/snow; it wouldn't be a problem.

this year the winter was pretty shitty and we thought it was done for good and we had one last storm, and the week before that, guys were already on their motorcycles.. usually i see guys riding from late march/early april all the way until the snow starts (november/december).. we've got plenty of good riding time in southern ontario.
