Default Moon eclipse - or however you call it - don't miss it!!

Just went outside to watch if it had started yet. I wish I had a good digi cam to take some pics!! A little part (lets say 1/10th) of the moon is allready dark and it's like that part round it looks a bit blue. Anyway, I just posted this so some of you go outside and watch it from time to time. It's too bad it's to cold - otherwise I would stay outside a while!

It sucks here, we have a stationary front and the sky is covered

Nice pics TT. I went out to look for the moon but it's still too bright out there. Guess I'll miss the total eclipse

I've just gone outside again. The moon is now completely dark (except a very very small line but that's gone in a minute) and it looks a bit brow - red...

If you think for a minute, the earth is now blocking the light from the sun completly so logically we couldn't see it anymore now but because the light beams are redirected-reguided because of the earths atmosphere we can still see it a little and that's also the reason why the color is like this

Full moon eclipse are cool, but I remeber the partial (but almost total) sun eclipse in 2000 (was it 2000 or 1999), was way cooler

I've seen it. It was quite red here, about 99% of it was covered, cool site I wish I had a digi cam.
