06/06 - Lamborghini Gallardo indepth!
So, again talking about this guy. You maybe remember a couple of past indepths I did with his cars:
and
Well, he is back on SCS, and with a Lambo this time.
In the past year, he set up a sort of P1 club in his area. When he decided to do so, he realized his M5, Modena and Clio weren't the right stable to use, so he also bought this wonderfull Gallardo as well as the red 996 Carrera Cabrio you see in the pics. The business is going pretty well and the garage you see in the pics let him use their Gransport too. He now has a black Wiesemann GT on order, which should hopefully come this summer!
His website, just in case.

And the pics now!

Well, he didn't really want a car with the engine in the wrong position, and actually not even a cabrio, but well, as this is the kind of car ppl like to rent, then he had a good offer on a red one,..

Nope dani. E39 M5 and Clio Sport are just for personal use.

Nope. Had some passenger rides with him and when we were moving the cars around in the parking, I had the Modena. I realize I didn't put down two words about it. Maybe because I already had other Gallardo experiences in the past.
The car is beautiful, and manual. The sound is so damn gorgeous!! I don't know how to explain it exactly, but the Gallardo feels so damn planted, so "heavy" in a good way. A massive car, not tiptoeing like a Ferrari would feel. third and fourth gear accelerations are amazing and the push seems to be endless. And yet, despite everything, it feels civilized too. Sitting in it while parked would make you think this is just a sporty Audi, thanks to many switches and details introduced by them.
Every time I jump in a Gallardo, I understand why so many ppl manage to use it as a daily drive. Even in town, you rarely feel totally out of place since visibility isn't that bad. I saw Gallardos up in the Alps in the mid of winter, under heavy snow and all.
This is really the car to have if you want supercar's performance and Porsche useability. Sure, a 997TT will probably eclipse it on most roads, but despite the Audi touch, this Bull still has a big soul!

^fully agree with your comments
black isn't the best color for a Gallardo IMO
the red lady doesn't fit into the black group or maybe yes
waiting eagerly for the Wiesmann report

That's the best I've heard anyone put it about the Gallardo and its street manners, thanks for the write-up TT.
