He must have had a bad day. Which brings me to another question: why do people take their speeding tickets to court? I once heard an excuse at first mention of "I was talking to my neighbour who is a cop and he said that because I had changed my wheels recently, my speedometer would have been out". To which the registrar replied "you were caught 40km/h over the limit. I do not think the size of your wheels will have made that much of a difference".
