I don't really care about San Marino at this point, it's become nothing but a parade with the current F1 cars. The race that ticks me off though is the Japanese GP being moved from Suzuka to Fuji...

San Marino's spot is still availale, it depends on whether or not it completes track modifications to make overtaking more easy in time. Mods include removal of the final chicane and grand stands etc etc. Hey does anyone here know anything about the new spanish test track?

I agree, suzuka last year was 1 of the most exiting races I ever saw (alonso taking over schumi in the 180R, raikkonen taking over fisi in the last lap, etc.) It was an awesome race.

why the hate on imola? i love the track, its one of the few tracks where there's actually some trees and stuff next to the track, and it also has some height differences, which all add to the sense of speed. More overtaking would be nice indeed tho

I for one wasn't hating on Imola, but with the cars in their current state, the track is just no good. It's a great track if you have cars that can actually manoeuver around eachother ala GP2, but with the majorly aero dependant F1 cars, it's relegated to a 180mph parade, save for 1 or 2 passes if you're lucky.

WTF?
That is just stupid...
Whose idea was it to switch from Suzuka to Fuji? FIA or Suzuka & Fuji?
I am glad I no longer follow F1 at all - it really seams like a stupid series these days.

Fuji was redone by some famous F1 race track designer so they were planning the move for a while
I mean I know why they are getting rid of the tracks (countries with 2 GPs is unfair) but hopefully they open up new ones in odd places
It is a shame but welcome change
