Sweet car indeed. Would be nice to see it in action during a race.

If we could only get a street spec version with a 2.0L 275hp engine.

Sweet racer, and those cars are very fast indeed.

Last year the team of Schubert-Motors drove a 320i 300 bhp-version in the VLN-races. They proved their reliability each and every race and were driven at the edge by Hans-Stuck and Claudia Hurtgen.

This year's Schubert-Motors car is a 120d 250 bhp. New project and already 5th overall during the 24-hours race ... says enough already I guess.

Thanks for the video

Cheers

Would certainly be great, but would probably require engine rebuilding too often. On the other hand, Honda has proven that 240hp from 2 litres can be done in a reliable way...

That's just the risks you've got to take with a racing engine.. I wonder how easy or hard it would be to run one of those on the streets.. I guess the only thing giving it away would be the sound right?

It's not a real repost, because the version you posted was a smaller clip from Auto & Motor Techniek, not the whole vid you see here...
