Bentley wins Lemans
So, Bentley, after four years of effort, has beaten the undefeatable Audis at the premier endurance race in the world. Thoughts?
I personally think it was time for someone else to win--particularly since I find the Bentley racers to be quite beautiful (haha good reason for them to win). Anyway, in the end, Volkswagen still has the endurance crown (owner of both Bentley and Audi).

if the factory audis had been in the race, they probably would have won

i was a little disappointed that the Corvettes didn't do better than they did, but at least it was Ferrari that beat em instead of vipers

I'm very happy for Bentely! So much efforts and a good 1-2 at the LeMans... they deserved it!

Nice win for Bentley
You all seem to be forgetting that Bentley is owned by VW (VAG) who also own Audi.
The new Bentley Continental GT Coupe road car has the W12 engine from the Pheaton and some body panels from the Audi A8.
So either way, a Bentley or Audi win is a win for VAG

No worries.
Anyway, I wonder what this means for Bentley's team. Now that they've won will they just pull out or will they continue a la Audi. It will be interesting to see.

they should continue developing their team like audi did...i remember one year, i think it was last year, that they changed an entire rear section of the car in a matter of minutes, a job that probably would have taken other teams much longer...who knows if bently will get up to that caliber, but they sure did have an impressive showing this year

It's a good win for Bentley, they have been trying hard. It's nice to see a different car other than Audi win, although had the factory Audi's been there, I don't think Bentley would have won.
Either way, congrats to Bentley for a job well done.

I completely missed LeMans this season. Does anyone know where I can find some nice images or cool clips? I sure would like to see this Bentley.

Yes, it was nice to see Bentley take the 1-2 this weekend, regardless of their VAG connection to Audi. I was always rooting for Bentley ever since they got back into the fray.
Now to see if Bentley opts to push on beyond their 3-year racing plan, and move forward with things....
