Setting off alarms in parking garages almost seems unfair these days
|
Lol... Im sorta ashamed to admit it but one night I had an exhaust off with my fathers truck. (ya know the semi with the diesel v10). It was pretty close till he hit the jakebreak(sp?)... At that point I just shut the car off and walked away... lol

Could be worse... with the heat from the engine melting the cup and ruining the paint

No worries about anything melting - the whole car is plastic remember
Besides - the real advantage of this setup is that you can make Martinis on the boot-lid - shaken, not stirred...

Almost forgot it's plastic
A bit off topic, but is it really true that cops' radar and laser don't work on a black plastic car? Heard about that myth for a while, dont really know it's true or not
Now, it would be hilarious if Bond decides to hop in a 'vette!

I don't know about radar but it sure doesn't hide a certain persons propensity to leave off his front license plate and get pulled over.

Then again, you sure it wasn't some "James Bond" move that allowed the certain person to talk themselves out of handcuffs and the backseat of a patrol car and back into the drivers seat?

no such thing as front mounted licence plates in Michigan
about radar... that is a myth... years of working in radio astronomy... some things reflect radar back 'less' but ultimately, the angles are what is most important... some frequencies could pass through the plastic...but that has a 2-way meaning... it will hit the engine/chassis etc. and bounce back.

Well - I have a fix for this...
I have made a Version 2.0 of "Lope, the Movie"...
For JW exclusive - includes some parking garage footage
