thats mindblowing!
I love the look of the older 911s!
The spoiler is just huge and the rims look great too.
I can't believe you waited until now to tell us all - we want more pics/driving impressions and maybe a vid?

Thanks for all the great compliments!
Pehtren: The power on the 3.6L motor is 249. The car weighs in at just a smudge under 3000 lbs. It is a surprising fast 249hp. I was able to take my friend's 2000 BMW M Roadster without any problems, even after he got the jump on me. I suspect it would be a different story with the S54 motor'd brute though. Still, the 911 is quite fast, even by todays standards and I would have no problems trying to run against about 90% of the modern cars I see.
TT: Unfortunately, before getting this car, I had to let my beloved M5 go. I did reserve the first right of refusal, so before the owner can sell the car, SHE has to let me try to buy it back first. So maybe, when things are right, I can own it again. It was an awesome ride and I miss it, but I don't regret giving it up for the 911. So, for now, it is the S4 and the 911 for me. I would gladly have given up the S4 to keep the M5...but my work sometimes requires me to travel into the snow...and Quattro makes it much easier to deal with.
Thanks again for all the compliments! I'll have more pictures and hopefully video to come. As a side note, there was a professional photographer who advertised for volunteers with their cars, so he could expand his portfolio. My friend and I responded (ae86_16v) So, hopefully, when those are done, I will have some great photos to share with everyone.

I saw a beautiful silver 964 C4 a week or so ago. Gave a big thumbs up to him. It was stock and a real minter 8)
If I could afford or justify two cars, I'd have something like a Golf TDI for work and a 993 or 964 for the weekends.
911 is actually quite practical for a dog owner, as the rear seats flip up or come out so the dogs could go back there and I'd not worry they would damage the seats! ops:

I remember you spoke about this car and hinted at it's arrival way back when - great buy.
A true "hands on" euro car - sounds like you are really enjoying it.

awesome car stan! everything that has been upgraded has been done tastfully and to improve on the looks of the car. the wheels are great, and the calipers stand out just like on the more modern porsches, giving it a more modern look IMO.. which is good
