It's just a habit, the 350D's automatic mode being a real flash-addict there is only one step to the other modes. I couldn't use lower apertures because that lens is really soft at f3.5, then I wanted to control the shutter speed ... and it's already the M mode

Then if it's still dark PS does the job to a certain extend of course ...

Which mode did you use, Tv ?

Most of the time I use S-mode (equivalent of Canon's Tv mode), because I want to make sure my pics are sharp enough. The downside is the camera chooses a too wide aperture opening when there isn't enough light. I guess I should start experimenting with M mode to get the pics I really want.

Thanks Darkel for your impressions from geneva.
Saved mostly the Ferrari pics, because we didn't had time to visit Ferrari this year :bah: (and the stand was very crowded)
