I really don't think this is my fault but...
The SRT clutch is a little different from most others it's modular and they tend not to last.
I spoke misleadingly though. My stock clutch is in my garage, it actually is in perfect condition, and still works, it just doesn't hold the torque the turbo makes so I preemtively switched. The SPEC lasted me over 12,000 miles before failing. It could be because SPEC clutches for the SRT are notoriously unreliable, or that the asshole installing it was hitting the rivets back in with a damned balpine hammer and he messed up the pressure plate. This last one for some reason two of the diaphragm fingers bent, and that's all I can see wrong with it. Then again, it could be my driving but I'm horrified at the thought. That and every other manual car I've had (two passats and a Scion tC) never had an issue. The neon is a pos, you hit it on the head, but when it works it's amazing.
T
hat was as far from the intercooler as I could get the plate. I'm going to take it off in a month so it's alright for now.
I've got some dyno time in a week, so I'll post a video hopefully, and some numbers. I'm switching back to the stock computer because it has better timing maps, and then som eRC 750 injectors and a new transmission mount finish off the rest of the mods.

UPDATE: I got a tune today on my RC750 injectors.
Last tune was 340whp/320tq @ 20 psi on a 60-1 Turbo
This tune: 348whp/342tq @ 17 psi
It's a pump gas map too.

Tuffguy, if you were to start from the UCI area, you would get onto Bison Ave. Make a left onto Macarthur Blvd. Then you would make a left onto PCH, and it would be about a 20 min. drive south to get to that location. Not exactly sure what city it is in though, sorry.
Nice pics Dangerously_Cool! Do you go to UCI?

Why is the front licence plate tied on with string?
In any case, nice car.
