I thought you said wild not retarded. A friend of mine just took the engine tranny etc out of the front of a honda civic hatch and welded a cage into the whole thing mounted a ls/vtec 6spd engine transaxle back into it only in the rear. Made it into a twin turbo midengined rwd civic hatch. Cool experiment i think I cant wait till hes all done the car is so much fun to drive. The turbo setup isnt finished but the driveline is done and it drives . I think thats pretty wild. Not the smartest thing in the world but cool none the less. Ill see if i can get some pix.
