Default Mallet to build ls2 engined solstice.

The stock car itself has risen my attention quite a bit given it has the power to weight of a miata and is rwd for under 20k...

This however makes me start shaking my piggy bank...
Thank you to everyone for your interest and inquiries regarding Mallett's V8 Solstice. In early June, Mallett Cars, Ltd. announced their next venture: the V8 powered Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky. These 2 seater roadsters will be powered by the LS2 V8 engine that is currently used in the C6 Corvettes. On June 16, 2005 Mallett Cars, Ltd. has released more details regarding the conversion package and options. Click HERE for more information.

2006 Mallett Collector's Edition Pontiac Solstice! New updated information on production and prices will become available - June, 2005. To celebrate our newest conversion, we will be producing a special offering of the new 400 Horsepower LS2 Solstice. This is limited to a production of 100 cars annually. Upgrades are to be announced!

The first regular solstices were delivered at the begining of the month, with expected all 10000 delivered by end of year. I find it funny cause I see 3 or 4 a day and saw preproduction models for several months(little did I know they are manufacturing them about 20 miles from where I sit).

Hopefully I ll get some spy pics of the sky, now that I know where to look.

Haven't seen a Solstice yet... but I saw the Sky at a show her in Denver, and it looks awesome.

400 HP in that little thing would be a dream. And then you could put the top down....
