^^ doubt it... these "early" previews are always short, they usually have more descriptive previews on the TG website as the day gets closer

This week’s Top Gear sees the glorious return of some old favourites.
In a nautical comeback of Titanic-raising proportions, the amphibious cars from series eight are ready to set sail once more. They’ve been treated to a host of technical improvements to make them a bit more seaworthy, and now they’re ready for a voyage into the unknown.
Also, Audi is very new to the supercar game, so the odds are stacked pretty high against it hitting a bulls-eye the first time out. Jeremy sets out to see if the new R8 can really challenge the Porsche 911 for bragging rights at the squash club.

Great.. the bullshit challenges are back
And we already know what the R8 can do against the 911, so they'd better make it very special.

It's nice to be able to watch the show on TV rather than the PC now that I am back in the UK. However, I owe much to 'certain websites' for being able to watch the show whilst I lived abroad and one website in particular (without naming directly, I am trying to say a thank you to the big man).
My support for this 'certain website' will continue in terms of being around and contributing in ways that I can.
I don't think much of these BS challenges either, TBH, but it is fun to watch. I'd rather see them spend this airtime testing hot hatches and older sporty cars, things I can afford.
I remember them having a riot in a Ford Puma some years ago, bring back that kind of feature.
Best M car would make a good use of airtime, as per recent article in one of the car mags I read (Evo I think it was).
Still, it's a good show and by doing these BS challenges the show appeals to a much wider audience, and it's all about the number of viewers the show can draw in...
I guess I would rather have it the way it is now than not have it at all.

I really liked this episode. I thought it went a little down hill with the challenge at the end, but even that was well done and at least ludicrous enough to be out of the ordinary. The news this time was hilarious. Even the pokes at 5th gear were decent.
The 911 versus r8 was, I admit, a copy cat of 5th gear. That being said the camera/production work was so far beyond 5th gear it was worth seeing.
The boat challenge.. The engilsh channel was just about the only redeemable part here.. I was really looking for something to happen to the truck at the end, alas it made it.
