why are you all so upset. this is just another PR trick and this crash was carefully planned and controlled. why would one put barriers just a few feet away from quite sharp turn? why is the guy, filming on the other side of barrier not even remotely frightened, just stands there and calmly films the "accident". Everybody is also very happy after the crash.. great stuff, they should put this to their movie. and maybe destroy some other enzos as well so more people would got to see the movie..

He's just a C-list celebrity. Which means his movies are met with low low low expectations. He often plays a ghetto pimp. He was also the man with the dog in the beginning of Armageddon . "Little Richard! Little Richard!"

Does the Enzo have ABS? It looks totally locked up going into the barrier.
The damage looks totally repairable, but the owner says its totaled. After all there going to fix Stephans Enzo.
Enzo insurance just went up.
Totally lame. This guy is now famous for 15 seconds.

Seems that he was pushing - understeering - the car rather than braking...
|
i say he did it on purpose as par of a publicity stunt, seriously, not many people knew about the movie and now news all over the world covered the crash... besides its repairable...

As I've found out, the PCH Erikson Enzo is being rebuilt, and the Houston TX. Enzo has been rebuilt as well, retaining the original vin... and some of the other enzo's have been rebuilt.
According to a friend who knows, This enzo is very reparable.

while we're at it, lets speak of the crashed enzo in Nice, and the one in Italy, and how they shouldn't ship Enzo's to people in either Italy, nor France (nor russians) Because that is exactly where your logic points towared. Lets see you back it up.

when was the last time you were in a Ferrari, when is the next time?
Is a ferrari meant to be driven, or to look at?
Last time I was in a Ferrari
and the next time I'll be in one is this coming Sunday.
I personally have met 3 Enzo owners, and know of two more, all who haven't crashed thiers, yet most of them put mile after mile on them.
I'm curious, what makes you the way you are regarding Ferrari's, and American's with Ferrari's? I know Romania isn't exactly an economic powerhouse... so move to where there is money, or, god forbid, why not try and become an entrapanuer yourself?

Why should I bother to properly express myself when met with such a biased and uninformed comment? I never said I was happy that the car crashed either, in fact I am quite sad as that means there is one less on the roads. But as far as Ferraris being in America, you obviously don't know as much as you would like to think you know about the brand. What experiences do you have first hand with Ferraris? I restored vintage Ferraris and worked on modern Ferraris for over 2 and a half years yet there is still a lot I have to learn about the history. So tell me what it is that you know that I should listen too. Did you know that Luigi Chinetti convinced Enzo to open the first Ferrari dealership in America? Did you know that shortly after opening he formed the North American Racing Team (N.A.R.T.) and the success of both was a huge factor in funding Ferraris road car development and success? No probably not, so why don't you just sit back and continue to make broad generalizations with no actual substance and only bias behind them.

When a Ferrari gives up its life, it needs to be at 200 mph. Not lame like this one. At least the Malibu and Utah crashes were worthy of the car.
