not a bad/boring/crappy race atall ....
i applied a new stretagy " watching kimi and not giving a shit about anyone else " .... it worked out well
good to see raikonen back in the game ....
too bad for alonso the tyres were messed up ...... as you all saw the slide on the gravel .... hes not a bad driver atall ...
anyway ... cant wait for next race

I couldn't have hoped for a better, while remaining realistic haha, result! Cant really blame anyone but Renault for Alonso's problems, as Kimi didn't seem to have any trouble at all, even with a fuck up in the pits, and a car that has been notably slower than Renault all season long.
Great stuff, lots of passing for a change as well, and both championships are now wide open. I'm thrilled haha.

Unless Michael Schumacher enlists the help of his brother.
I think Raikonnen was running light. The time disparity between him and De La Rosa doesn't match the skill gap. Unless something happened, cos I didn't see qualifying.

Alonso almost crashed all by himself during the race, taking a pretty risky trek through the sand before luckily getting it back on the track.
And Raikkonen was running light, he pitted after only 9 laps, ending up with a 3 stopper. They screwed up his fuel load in qualifying, so all they could do was try to get pole and run as fast as they could in hopes of opening a gap with a lighter load. He did good finishing 3rd with that strategy and that car I think.

Good race though there was no real race at the front.
This mass damper thing has really affected Renault. Did anyone see the public display of Michelin tyres Renault made in protest? Putting them in show in the pitlane? WHATS THE POINT. Don't divert from the fact your lack of mass dampers have had a big affect on tyre wear and traction thus probably CAUSING the large amount of blistering. Michelin not so much to blame. Blame the FIA! lol
Also blame ALONSO for not being to adapt to the cars new handling characteristics. Notice Fisi was better all weekend. Alonso just gets in a strop, drives crap. The mass damper Renault was built around him. Now the rattle is being thrown out the pram.
If Alonso claws this back or puts on a good fight I will totally change my opinion on him and rank him very high. Only time will tell....
Kimi displayed his considerable skill this weekend and Button proved you can still drive good even with the fashion sense of a tramp. Maybe that bum fluff beard improves chassis rigidity. Sly version of a mass damper!

great race, Alonso seems to be having a lot of difficulties with the new car and since there will be a testban for the next two races, hihihi Ferrari is going to take them all 0X

Looks like the Renault is hugely affected by the mass damper ban. ITV is having a hunch that the ban of the dampers caused the Michelins to blister more than usual. Now the last few races turned more interesting

I don't see why the lack of damper would cause the rears to blister so badly. Even Kimi said that he was getting blisters near the end of the race and McLaren don't run a damper (and never have to my knowledge). It was purely the tires and setups.

I'm starting to think you don't like anyone whos initials aren't MS What do you have against Speed? He's doing great for a rookie and it's about fuckin time there was an American on the grid.
Alonso is finally starting to crack it seems. Now, if he can fend off Shumacher to retain the Championship, i'll give him the credit he deserves for this year. But it won't be retroactive

Renault were not the only team using the damper system, Ferrari even were. But the point is look at what Renault have been amazing at the last two years -brilliant traction out of those corners. If the Renault chassis main emphasis is on this good traction than surely the mass damper would be a very important piece of the chassis?
Thus affecting balance, thus affecting tyre wear, thus making non adaptive Alonso drive like s***
